For guests seeking privacy and exclusivity, the Mamaya Private Pools attached to the Hapus Villas offer a sanctuary of calm. These intimate plunge pools are designed for personal relaxation, allowing guests to enjoy the water in complete seclusion. Surrounded by high walls and dense foliage, they provide a private oasis within the larger resort.

The Challenge

Creating a sense of complete isolation within a busy resort environment was the primary hurdle. We needed to ensure visual and acoustic privacy for each villa pool without making the spaces feel confined or disconnected from the natural surroundings.

The Solution

We utilized a decentralized filtration strategy for independent operation of each pool. Strategic landscaping and architectural screening were employed to create 'green curtains' that offer privacy while maintaining an open, airy feel. The finish materials were chosen to give the water a serene, turquoise tranquillity distinct from the main pool's vibrant blue.
