Corbett River Valley Resort

Project Overview

Located on the edge of the Jim Corbett National Park, this project required a design that would dissolve the boundary between the resort and the wild. The infinity pool is positioned to offer a seamless visual connection with the Ramganga River valley below. We used natural stone finishes to ensure the structure felt like an organic extension of the forest floor, rather than an imposition on it.

The Challenge

Constructing in a sensitive ecological zone meant strict adherence to environmental regulations. We had to minimize noise, manage waste strictly, and ensure no construction runoff entered the river ecosystem. The remote location also posed logistical challenges for transporting heavy filtration equipment.

The Solution

We implemented a 'silent construction' protocol and used pre-fabricated components where possible to reduce on-site impact. The pool features a zero-discharge filtration system, ensuring that all water is recycled for irrigation within the resort premises, maintaining a zero-impact footprint on the river.
